BAeA
Anti-Doping Policy |
|
|
The use of
Banned or Inappropriate Substances |
|
|
The BAeA is
resolved to ensure that competitors neither seek nor gain any advantage
by the use of banned or inappropriate substances, and that all pilots
thus have the opportunity to compete in a fair and open contest. |
|
|
In particular: |
|
● |
The BAeA
has adopted the UK Anti-Doping Rules published by the Drug-Free Sport
Directorate of UK Sport (or its successor), as amended from time to
time, as well as FAI Anti-Doping Rules and Procedures version 2.1 (or
any subsequent amendments). If there is a conflict between the rules of
the FAI and the UK Anti-Doping Rules the rules of the FAI will prevail. |
|
● |
Competitors
should familiarise themselves with these Rules and Procedures, which are
available through the Internet. All participants will be required to
sign an Acknowledgement and Agreement of these rules on their contest
entry form. |
|
● |
All
competitors may be subject to in-competition testing. Competitors
selected for a ‘Registered Testing Pool’ will be subject to
out-of-competition testing and will have to provide ‘whereabouts
information’.

instance direct their enquiry to the BAeA Chairman or Head of
Competition - see here. |
