Saturday January 30th at Bodmin - starting time
10:00am There will be a thorough review and tutorial of "How to Judge". We
will use the
BAeA 2010 Judging
Tutorial as the basic material for the day,
and it will help you greatly to download and read through this document,
which is in effect a printed version of the forty or so pages from the
BAeA Judging section. It is hoped to have a sequence or two flown at
some stage during the afternoon, and this will be used as a field-class
tutorial to supplement the days programme.

Contest Directors and Chief Judges
Seminar
Sunday March 7th at White Waltham Here we will run a seminar for
Contest Directors and Chief Judges. This is important
for all CD's and CJ's running BAeA events in 2010. Whilst both jobs
always go to experienced members we have in the past noticed differences
between the management styles that don't quite accord with "the book"
way of doing things, and this is a first step toward standardising the
way that we all run our competitions. So - if you're down to be one of the
CD/CJ team during 2010 we'll expect to see you here by 10:00 am. Or of
course if you'd like to be in this position at some future time, feel
free to come and join in.
