Charlie Macaw
| Charlie – age 3 – is one of Walter’s EXTRA
special birds with 9 litres of Lycoming’s best up the front. He lives with his
pals at Chester Zoo from where he escapes on a regular basis to meet up with his
chums over the length and breadth of the country for a spot of crazy flying.
Sometimes he even goes wet to visit far flung places like Lelystad and
Abbeyshrule, where in 2001 he overcame the determined efforts of his pilot pal
JP, ( who generally prefers to fly everything in the wrong direction ) and went
on to win the Celtic Shield. |
Charlie has great artistic talents and likes to draw nice long lines.
However some who know him reckon that he sometimes has a very bad attitude and
in a flick roll often shows a lack of incidence. If you would like to see what
