Martin Sandford

Martin is 48, and lives in Iver, Bucks. with his wife Anne and their son Charles and is director of a Patent licensing group. He first started recreational flying in 1986, and began learning competition aerobatics in 1994 in Alan Cassidy's Pitts S2A. In 1996 he acquired a CAP 20 (G-BIPO) and has since had a number of successes including winning the title of National Aerobatic Champion at Standard Level in 1996 and at Intermediate Level in 1997 and 1998. A keen singer and musician, Martin also enjoys sailing, tennis and skiing and was once a youth international oarsman in coxless fours.
