Tim Shears

Tim Shears is 40 years old, married with 4 children and lives in Maidenhead, Berkshire. He runs his own company, organising events for the Information Technology Industry. He started flying in 1989 and has over 1000 flying hours on light aircraft. He took up aerobatics in 1994 originally to overcome a fear of flying in extreme attitudes. In four years of competitive aerobatics he has won over 30 BAEA medals and been National Champion at Standard Level and Intermediate Level.

He currently flies a Yak 55M at Advanced Level.
