British National Adv & Unl Championships -
1998
Once again the British weather wiped the smile from our faces with
a dismal trio of misty days. We managed to fly the qualifying sequences
on Thursday afternoon, but the remainder of Friday and Saturday was spent
with the viz somewhere below 3km and at 1300 on the 26th the contest
was abandoned.
The Unlimited and Advanced National Championships for 98/99 will now
be decided at Swansea in May 99, together with the selection basis for
the unlimited Team to go to Spain for the 1999 European Championships.
The Advanced Team to go to the 1999 Czech Republic AWAC will shortly
be determined from 1998 data with the possible assistance of a
selection committee.
