The Icicle & Icicle Surprise Trophies - 1999
Despite the early passage of a cold front through most of the midlands,
making the trip to Leicester from 'down south' impossible for some and
not too easy for the rest, the skies suddenly cleared and the BAeA's
inaugural power meeting in this silver jubilee year quickly became a
roaring success. All three competitions were despatched in good order
by CD Eric Marsh, Chief Judge Bob Oliver and his crew and scorer Jen
Buckenham, sending Gary Ferriman, Tom Cassells and Mark Jefferies home
feeling decidedly happier than when they arrived.  Roll on Welshpool!
