Ten competitors flew two unknown sequences in glorious sunshine on Easter Saturday. On Sunday however hopes of a third sequence were dashed by low cloud and drizzle, bringing the competition to a close by lunchtime.

Guy Westgate took the gold, chased this year by John Gilbert and Mike Woollard. The Dan Smith Trophy for the most 'meritorious' sports level pilot was presented to Richard Chapman from Bidford Gliding Club.
