| You can now quickly
obtain an aerial photograph of the majority of airfields in the England
and Wales, some in Scotland but it seems none yet in Northern Ireland or Eire.
The links
here all point to the
appropriate location in the GetMapping Plc UK photographic series on the
MultiMap.com website, and will
provide a printable aerial view of the relevant airfield at 1:25,000
scale. The page also provides overlaid map details, local weather, how to
get there... very useful. |
 |
 |
Airfields listed
by ICAO code - use your browser's "Edit > Find" menu to locate
the airfield. |
 |
Non-ICAO smaller
airfields, strips and heli-pads are all listed alphabetically on
three pages. |
 |
| If the place you're looking for
isn't listed, get the location sorted on MultiMap's site and
email the answer to the BAeA webmaster
for inclusion. One word of
WARNING - these photographs can become quite out of date and
should never be used in your flight-planning. For
instance, Northampton Sywell's runway layout has changed
dramatically since whenever the pics were taken, so be careful ! |
