Pitts Fly-in & Concours D'elegance

A fly in will take place on the Sunday, with all types of Pitts (and other aircraft!) welcome. There will be a reduced landing fee of £7.50 for all fly-in aircraft (there is no landing fee for competing aircraft). Along with the fly-in there shall be a concours d'elegance for all Pitts aircraft that are present.

Notes

Beginners - Pilots will fly the known sequence twice. The scores will be combined in the same way as they are at higher levels. Pilots wishing to fly in both Beginners and Standard level should give careful consideration to the high intensity of flying this may involve.

Non BAeA members will be entitled to 'day membership' for each day of the event and may compete in the competition. Any pilots wishing to fly in the competition element of this event must be signed off at the level they wish to compete at by a BAeA Flight Evaluator in accordance with BAeA rules. Pilots wishing to fly in the Beginners class require a signature in their logbook from a flying instructor, authorised to give aerobatic instruction.

Fly-in visitors who do not wish to take part in the competition, do not need to be members of the BAeA.

Aeroplanes visiting for the Sunday fly-in

Shropshire Aero Club welcomes all other visitors for the Sunday Fly In provided "PPR" rules are strictly observed!
