Compton Abbas re-run, 19/20 July - POSTPONED DUE POOR WEATHER FORECAST (17th July)

The Head of Contests, together with the airfield management and the Contest Director, have decided to postpone this event due to the very poor weather forecast for Friday. If the event can be rescheduled, we will advise as soon as we can.

We have rescheduled the Compton Abbas competition to be held on 19th and 20th July. As the Intermediate Team will have only just returned from Czech Republic, we think it best to allow them a rest, so this event will not now include Intermediate. The Royal Air Squadron Trophy (Apprentices) will now be flown at the National Championships at Conington.

After representation from a number of pilots our Head of Contests has agreed to include the Intermediate programme in this event. Note that the Royal Air Squadron Trophy for the Apprentices sequence will still be contested at Conington.
