The British Aerobatics Glider Squad

The 2022 season will see two international aerobatic championships for British Aerobatics glider pilots to aim for:
  • 24th FAI World Glider Aerobatic Championships (Unlimited)
    Issoudun, France - 17/8 - 27/8/2022
    Website: tba

  • 12th FAI World Advanced Glider Aerobatic Championships
    Issoudun, France - 17/8 - 27/8/2022
    Website: tba

British Aerobatics has established a series of training camps run by experienced trainers at various airfields for both categories, and is strongly encouraging the nominated pilots to attend and subsequently enter as many domestic contests as possible to consolidate the lessons learned.

The short biographies below are great examples of the determination and development potential amongst our membership that we are so keen to foster. At a later stage a British Aerobatics selection panel may operate to finalise and approve the teams for each event.
